Threadlifts in More Detail
If you are looking for a non-surgical way to restore a youthful profile without adding volume (as happens with dermal fillers) threadlifts are the answer. The thread lift elevates and refines your features without making your face appear bigger and without leaving you to deal with weeks of painful recovery and surgical scars.
Threadlifts are incredibly versatile and can be employed to address issues in various parts of the face and neck including the cheeks, nose and the area around the eyes. They can also add subtle refinement to the jawline and neck and mitigate the appearance of jowls. If you are not a fan of the crow’s feet or marionette lines staring back at you every day in the mirror, threadlifts can help.
Say Goodbye to Puffy Face
Unlike dermal fillers a thread lift will not produce an unnaturally puffy-looking face. Instead, your natural profile will be retained and refined in ways that complement your bone structure rather than burying it.
If you have ever enjoyed the uplifted feeling produced in your face by tying your hair up tight in a high ponytail you have some idea of what you can expect from threadlifts.
Not everyone will experience exactly the same results but for the overwhelming majority, the results will be significant, durable and, in some cases, quite breathtaking.
Not Just For the Cheeks and Jawline
While a thread lift can do wonders for the cheeks and jawline their benefits are not confined to the large, architectural features of the face.
Thread lifts are also capable of restoring a youthful appearance to the lips. They do this by smoothing out fine lines that undermine the appearance of the lips, and by stimulating collagen production to add definition and texture.
Recovery
While cosmetic surgery typically requires weeks of painful recovery the worst you are likely to experience from a thread lift is a few days of tenderness around the treatment area. In most cases over-the-counter NSAIDs can be used to help reduce any post thread lift discomfort. Any swelling will be minimal and will typically fade in a couple of days.
Threadlifts can cause slight soreness at the injection site and swelling is normal with bruising on occasion lasting 24-72 hours. 7-10 days healing.
From 30 minutes.
No smoking, alcohol and hot showers for 6 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise for 7-10 days. Avoid exerting pressure on the treated area.
Between 6-12 months. Non-Permanent.
Some bruising and swelling, possible headaches.
Minimal pain, local anaesthetic injected to the treatment area.
From £750.

A Thread Lift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses threads made of biocompatible materials, such as PDO or PLLA, to lift and tighten sagging skin. These threads are inserted under the skin using small needles and are then gently pulled to lift and tighten the skin.
The threads work to stimulate collagen production, which helps to further tighten and lift the skin over time. The procedure can be done in as little as an hour and requires little to no downtime, making it a popular choice for those looking for a non-surgical facelift option.
At SAS Aesthetics, we offer a range of Thread Lift options to suit your unique needs and goals:
PDO Threads: This option uses PDO (polydioxanone) threads to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face.
Thread Lift Facelift: This option uses a combination of PDO threads to achieve a more comprehensive facelift effect.
At SAS Aesthetics, we take a 360 approach to your well-being and appearance, offering a range of aesthetic solutions that work together synergistically to achieve the best possible results. Our skilled and experienced doctors use only the latest techniques and materials to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
With over a decade of industry experience, our founder and lead doctor, Dr Mahsa Saleki, has established herself as a leading authority in Thread Lifts and other non-surgical anti-ageing treatments. She has trained countless practitioners and has been featured in numerous publications, including The Daily Mail, Tatler, and Harpers Bazaar.
ThreadLift treatments are relatively safe, with minor complications such as swelling and bruising however there is a slightly increased risk of infection with PDO threads compared to other treatments, there is a small risk of nerve damage as well a negligible risk of scarring. During your appointment Dr Mahsa will explain the measures you must take to avoid and reduce the likelihood of these occurring.
To ensure the best results, there are several things you must avoid after a PDO thread lift. These include sleeping on your stomach or side, wearing makeup, drinking alcohol, making extreme facial expressions, and receiving facials and facial massages.
The ThreadLift treatment is not recommended for pregnant women, those who are unable to avoid strenuous exercise for a period of two weeks such as athletes or those working in the fitness industry. Those with obesity are discouraged from having this treatment.
Dr Saleki is the sweetest and most professional Dr ever! I was really nervous and she completely put me at ease for my fox eye thread lift!
I was a bit nervous, Dr Mahsa was lovely, she couldn’t of been more professional and kind. I had nose threads and the procedure was quick and apart from a bit of discomfort with the anaesthetic, the rest was totally pain free. I am 3 days post treatment and still a bit swollen but other than that everything has been very smooth and I feel fine. I’m excited to see the settled results. Would I recommend, 100% yes.
First time I every had any treatment and it was a brilliant experience, The Dr was very Calm and compassionate and clear. I read about a treatment threading but she said I didn’t need it and suggested fillers and fat dissolving which has work for me, definitely go again even though it took me over 2hours to get there.

A tragic and preventable death. The UK is the ONLY country we know of that has ZERO regulation on who can perform injectables. A death like this is wholly preventable in the presence of a responsible and caring government. Aesthetics medicine is a female majority profession, it’s poorly understood by governing politicians and diabolically represented by regulators. Some change may come but more needs to be done. No less by the medical community who need to be aware of the responsibility they hold when they train and embolden non-medics. Prescribing medication and feeding the black market culture in aesthetics.
