Threadlifts in More Detail

If you are looking for a non-surgical way to restore a youthful profile without adding volume (as happens with dermal fillers) threadlifts are the answer. The thread lift elevates and refines your features without making your face appear bigger and without leaving you to deal with weeks of painful recovery and surgical scars.

Threadlifts are incredibly versatile and can be employed to address issues in various parts of the face and neck including the cheeks, nose and the area around the eyes. They can also add subtle refinement to the jawline and neck and mitigate the appearance of jowls. If you are not a fan of the crow’s feet or marionette lines staring back at you every day in the mirror, threadlifts can help.

Say Goodbye to Puffy Face

Unlike dermal fillers a thread lift will not produce an unnaturally puffy-looking face. Instead, your natural profile will be retained and refined in ways that complement your bone structure rather than burying it.

If you have ever enjoyed the uplifted feeling produced in your face by tying your hair up tight in a high ponytail you have some idea of what you can expect from threadlifts.

Not everyone will experience exactly the same results but for the overwhelming majority, the results will be significant, durable and, in some cases, quite breathtaking.

Not Just For the Cheeks and Jawline

While a thread lift can do wonders for the cheeks and jawline their benefits are not confined to the large, architectural features of the face.

Thread lifts are also capable of restoring a youthful appearance to the lips. They do this by smoothing out fine lines that undermine the appearance of the lips, and by stimulating collagen production to add definition and texture.

Recovery

While cosmetic surgery typically requires weeks of painful recovery the worst you are likely to experience from a thread lift is a few days of tenderness around the treatment area. In most cases over-the-counter NSAIDs can be used to help reduce any post thread lift discomfort. Any swelling will be minimal and will typically fade in a couple of days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Thread Lift?

A Thread Lift is a minimally invasive procedure that uses threads made of biocompatible materials, such as PDO or PLLA, to lift and tighten sagging skin. These threads are inserted under the skin using small needles and are then gently pulled to lift and tighten the skin.

The threads work to stimulate collagen production, which helps to further tighten and lift the skin over time. The procedure can be done in as little as an hour and requires little to no downtime, making it a popular choice for those looking for a non-surgical facelift option.

Types of Thread Lifts

At SAS Aesthetics, we offer a range of Thread Lift options to suit your unique needs and goals:

PDO Threads: This option uses PDO (polydioxanone) threads to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face.

Thread Lift Facelift: This option uses a combination of PDO threads to achieve a more comprehensive facelift effect.

Benefits of Thread Lifts
  • Non-surgical: Thread Lifts are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional facelift surgery.
  • Little to no downtime: Most patients can return to normal activities within a few days of the procedure.
  • Natural-looking results: Thread Lifts offer subtle yet noticeable improvements, giving you a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.
  • Long-lasting: Results can last up to two years, making it a great option for those looking for a longer-lasting alternative to surgery.
