Fox Eyes Thread Lift TM otherwise known as Fox Brows or Fox Eyes is one of Dr Mahsa’s signature treatment. Dr. Mahsa Saleki at SAS Aesthetics uses a combination of thread-lift techniques to lift and elongate your outer eyelid and brow. This creates  a beautiful openness to your eye area for a bright, well-rested and youthful appearance.

Targeting both your SPS area ( the eyeshadow space between the upper eyelid and the  eyebrow), as well as your eyebrow itself using dissolvable suture.

How it works

Fox eyes lift is a minimally invasive treatment that uses ultra-fine, lightweight suture threads. The fox eyes threads are placed under your skin with a small cannula to gently pull the eyelid, outer eye and brow outwards and upwards. This will alleviate any sagging skin that you may suffer from specially if you have hooded eyelids.

Reshaping the brows and face

The Fox Eyes Thread Lift TM or Fox Brow lift technique can also be used to subtly remodel your eyebrows. Your brow tail will be carefully lifted to create the illusion of a wider eye and higher cheekbones.

Skin rejuvenation

Your threads will gradually dissolve in time and the surrounding tissue will continue to rejuvenate with more collagen. This will over time prevent aging and make your skin much tighter, holding the brows in a lifted position.

Dr. Mahsa Saleki at SAS Aesthetics will create a bespoke treatment plan to determine your suitability  in achieving your preferred look.

Results

All Fox Eyes Thread Lift TM or Fox Brow treatments can be carried out in less than an hour using local  anaesthetic. This minimises discomfort with minimal downtime. The effects of this technique  typically last between 6-12 months with PDO threads or 2-3 years with the use of semi permanent threads.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Fox Eyes Lift?

Fox Eyes threadlift is an amazing treatment. This technique uses dissolvable sutures to lift and elongate your outer eyebrows and upper eyelid. This will give you an openness to the eyes whilst simultaneously lifting the brow tail to create the desired effect.

What is a SPS Lift?

SPS stands for superior palpebral sulcus. This is the area in your upper eye that creates a  fold better known as the “eyeshadow area”. With time, due to aging this skin begins to droop down. This is because fat pads above and around the eyebrows are lost. An SPS lift uses dissolvable suture threads to lift and tighten your skin below the eyebrows and above the eyes. This will create an openness and restore the shadow area.

What is a PDO Eyebrow Lift?

The Eyebrow lift focuses on simply re-aligning the position of your eyebrow itself with little to  no impact in skin tightening. This is a great treatment if your considering a change in  the shape of your eyebrow to elongate the shape.

What are the different techniques used to achieve this at SAS Aesthetics?

Dr. Mahsa will offer you two different techniques to achieve your desired look. All these techniques are  unique to our clinic. They have been developed and perfected by Dr. Mahsa. All your treatments can be done using local anaesthetic in under one hour with minimal downtime.

Is the treatment painful?

All of the techniques used by Dr. Mahsa are painless as she will give you an  effective local anaesthetic (LA) injection called “xylocaine”. The LA injections will feel like a  pin prick. You may experience some headaches after the treatment which will respond well  to over the counter painkillers.

Will I have a scar?

The beauty of this treatment is that it’s free of incisions. The treatment is done through a needle entry point. The trauma incurred to the treated area is very small. You will only see a small needle mark immediately after the procedure. This, therefore reduces the risk of scarring to less than 1%.

What is the downtime? Will the skin folds be permanent?

Threadlifts will heal within 3-7 days as the swelling and bruising settles down. You may experience tightness in the treated area for a week on average. You may experience some skin folds in your hairline which usually begins to relax 2-3 days after the procedure. Disclaimer: individual healing times may vary.

What are the complications with thread lift?

The treatment is relatively safe, with minor complications such as swelling and bruising. However there is a slightly increased risk of infection, nerve damage and a negligible risk of scarring. During  your appointment your doctor will explain the risks of these complications and how to avoid them.

Will my skin be more “saggy” once the threads dissolve?

This is not the case, your skin surrounding the thread will be stimulated to create more  collagen. You will notice that your skin is firmer and lifted over time. You can also have threadlifts to prevent aging.

What do I have to avoid before and after the treatment?

You are encouraged to avoid smoking and alcohol for 12 hours before and after your treatment. You should also avoid strenuous exercise for a week.

Your individual post treatment precautions will be discussed in clinic.

Who can’t have the treatment?

This treatment is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with obesity are discouraged from having this treatment.

How long will the effects last?

PDO threads last 6 -12 months depending on your lifestyle and level of activity. For longer  lasting results a repeat procedure is advisable.

Other available suture materials, PLLA or PCLA threads with longer life spans will last between 2-3 years.

// Sofwave uses a patented technology to lift and tighten skin over a sustained period of time.

It works by “waking up” the factory layer of the skin and increasing the production of proteins that make up the building blocks of younger skin.

We love combining them with Polynucleotides usually in the same session as the two work together.

Sofwave wakes up the skin. Polys nourish the cells to get the most out of your treatment.

We’d love to help you achieve your goals. Call or message today for more details.
