Following a consultation with Dr. Mahsa Saleki, this minimally invasive treatment is carried out by inserting ultra-fine lightweight suture threads into the skin. The threads act as an anchor within the skin to lift and reinforce its physical structure. For the nose, threads are used to lift the tip and straighten the bridge simultaneously. This mechanical alteration to the skin overlying the nose will also contract the skin and soft tissue to make the nose appear smaller.

If you need nose contouring to build and define the shape of your nose bridge – Nose threads are perfect for you. the threads are made of a solid structure and mimic bone perfectly. Unlike dermal filler they don’t migrate or add bulk to the nose.

There are 2 main types of sutures used. PDO – lasting on average 12-18 months and PCLA – lasting on average 3 years.
Your results do depend on your skin type and lifestyle. Smoking and alcohol consumption often adversely affect results.
Your results will be instant. However, the final result will be apparent once the nose has fully healed after 1-2weeks.

You will be injected with local anaesthetic. If you’ve ever had a dental block you will be familiar with how it works.
Once the injection is done, your nose will be completely numb. The Nose thread insertion itself is painless.
As with all aesthetics treatments, consumption of alcohol should be avoided for 12 hours before and after treatment, the same is said for smoking but for 6 hours. Particular to this treatment, you should avoid any pressure on your nose for 1-2 weeks and that includes avoiding the use of glasses/ sunglasses.
Yes, Nose ThreadLift is very much a lunchtime procedure with only minor side effects which shouldn’t prevent you from going into work.
You will be given a full consultation, where you can discuss the results you want as well as go through any medical or aesthetics history you have. You will decide the shape and lift together with the doctor. The nose threads are then inserted. At this point with the help of the doctor you can decide on the final look. You will have some swelling after the injections. You might also have some mild bruising and are therefore encouraged to take arnica tablets (can be purchased at most local drug stores) before and after the treatment.
The whole procedure takes 30 minutes but allow an hour for your appointment.

I had nose threads and the procedure was quick and apart from a bit of discomfort with the anaesthetic, the rest was totally pain free. I am 3 days post treatment and still a bit swollen but other than that everything has been very smooth and I feel fine. I’m excited to see the settled results. Would I recommend, 100% yes.
First time I every had any treatment and it was a brilliant experience, The Dr was very Calm and compassionate and clear. I read about a treatment threading but she said I didn’t need it and suggested fillers and fat dissolving which has work for me, definitely go again even though it took me over 2hours to get there.
