Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

Morpheus8 is a combination of micro-needling and Radiofrequency (RF).

RF energy is a scientifically proven method to remodel and rebuild collagen. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins the RF is delivered to all layers of the the skin. As a result this stimulates the skin to renew the deeper layers of the skin.

Is Morpheus8 safe?

Yes, the level of energey and the depth it’s delivered to is carefully controlled. This ensures that the treatment targets only the top 4mm of the skin layer to avoid any major structures such as nerve and vasculature.

Which areas can be treated with Morpheus8?

The most commonly targeted areas are the face and neck. The body can also be treated where skin thinning becomes apparent such as the abdomen, back or legs.

Morpheus8 also plays a role in targetting acne scarring. Some Research is now concluding that it would be beneficial in treating hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating)!

Is there any discomfort during Morpheus8 treatment?

Each patient has a different pain threshold. You will recieve a topical anaesthetic to ease any discomfort during the treatment – most clients find this treatment to be relatively pain free.

How long is the treatment time?

Once your skin is numb, the treatment itself can take 10-30minutes depending on the areas that are being treated.

What is the downtime?

Morpheus8 treatments may bring about the possibility of developing needle point bruises. Some patients may also experience slight swelling.

You may feel some warmth over the skin area that’s been treated which may last upt 48 hours. The overall healing time can take between 1-10 days depending on individual factors. However the average some for most clients is 48 hours.

When will I start to see results?

Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

Your practitioner will recommend the optimal number of sessions to be performed based on your personal objectives. Treatment times and frequency will be specifically tailored to obtain the optimal results.

Can I have other treatments around the same time?

Yes, Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments. Morpheus8 can also be combined with other lnMode energy treatments or injectables to achieve more extensive results.

If you are planning to have dermal fillers – we’d advise having this done 4 weeks after your Morpheus8 treatment. Botulium Toxin A treatments two weeks either side of your Morpheus8 treatment should be OK.

What are the after care advice?

Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing the risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also slow the aging process.

Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness depending on treatment parameters.

I came to this clinic and had fox eyes and lip filler done. 3 months later i came back because i loved my results so much the first time i wanted a touch up while keeping things looking as natural as possible.. Dr. Mahsa is an artist. I asked for natural Lips and although we used enough filler, they look so amazing. I couldnt be happier! As for the fox eyes I dont think there is a more experienced doctor performing these treatments. Could'nt recommend enough! Thank you for giving me such a confidence boost SAS. See you again next year ;)
