Skinvive™ is an injectable skin hydration treatment that improves skin quality by enhancing hydration, smoothness, and luminosity from within. Frequently Asked Questions

How Does Skinvive™ Work?

Skinvive™ is delivered through a series of micro-injections across the skin, where it integrates into the dermis to improve the skin’s ability to retain moisture. By deeply hydrating the skin from within, it helps to:

  • Improve skin smoothness

  • Enhance natural glow and light reflection

  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines related to dehydration

  • Support overall skin resilience and elasticity

Results develop gradually over several weeks as the skin becomes more hydrated, refined, and visibly healthier.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

Skinvive™ is commonly used to improve skin quality in areas where dehydration and texture changes are most noticeable, including:

  • The cheeks and mid-face

  • Lower face and jawline

  • Neck

  • DĂ©colletage

Your treatment plan will be tailored during consultation to suit your individual skin concerns and goals.

What Results Can I Expect?

Patients typically notice:

  • Improved skin hydration and softness

  • Smoother texture

  • A more even, radiant complexion

  • Skin that looks healthier both in person and in photographs

Results are subtle, natural, and progressive — enhancing the skin without any “treated” appearance. Improvements can last up to six months, with maintenance treatments helping to sustain optimal skin quality.

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

Most patients require one initial Skinvive™ treatment, although some may benefit from a second session depending on their skin condition and treatment goals. A maintenance treatment every six months is commonly recommended to preserve results.

Your practitioner will advise on the most appropriate schedule following a full skin assessment.

Who Is Skinvive™ Suitable For?

Skinvive™ is suitable for patients who:

  • Want to improve skin quality rather than volume

  • Experience dull, dehydrated, or crepey skin

  • Prefer subtle, natural-looking aesthetic treatments

  • Are seeking preventative or restorative skin rejuvenation

It can be used alone or combined with other treatments such as laser therapy, medical-grade skincare, or anti-wrinkle treatments as part of a comprehensive skin health plan.

Why Choose a Doctor-Led Clinic for Skinvive™?

As an injectable treatment, Skinvive™ should only be performed by a medically trained practitioner with advanced knowledge of skin anatomy and injection techniques. A doctor-led approach ensures:

  • Accurate placement and dosing

  • Personalised treatment planning

  • Natural, balanced results

  • The highest safety standards

What are the active ingredients in Skinvive™?

The primary active ingredient in Skinvive™ is hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the skin that plays a key role in hydration and elasticity. The hyaluronic acid used in Skinvive™ is specifically formulated to improve skin quality rather than provide structural support, allowing it to integrate smoothly into the skin and enhance hydration without adding volume.

Is Skinvive™ the same as dermal filler?

No. While Skinvive™ contains hyaluronic acid, it is not a traditional dermal filler. Dermal fillers are designed to add volume, contour, or structure to the face. Skinvive™ is injected superficially and evenly across the skin to improve hydration, texture, and luminosity, making it a skin-quality treatment rather than a volumising one.

What skin concerns does Skinvive™ help with?

Skinvive™ is particularly effective for improving:

  • Dehydrated or dull skin

  • Rough or uneven skin texture

  • Fine lines caused by dryness

  • Loss of natural glow and luminosity

It is ideal for patients who want subtle, natural enhancement focused on skin health rather than facial reshaping.

I treat skin every single day.

Here is what I wish more women knew before they came to see me.

1. The biggest change in your skin after 35 is not at the surface. It is structural. The products on your shelf can support it ,but they cannot rebuild it.
2. Most women I see are doing too much. Layering actives that cancel each other out, stripping a barrier that is already struggling.
3. SPF is the most powerful anti-ageing tool you have. Wear it every single day and reapply throughout the day.
4. You cannot out-product a poor lifestyle. Sleep, nutrition and movement do more for your skin than anything you can buy.
5. Your neck and chest are ageing faster than your face, and most people completely ignore them. Start treating them now.
6. Price is not a marker of efficiency. Some of the most clinically proven ingredients cost almost nothing. Most of what you are paying for is marketing.
7. Strong actives are not always better. Most skin issues I see come from overuse, not underuse. If something is irritating your skin, it is damaging your barrier.
8. Your skin at 40 does not need the same routine it needed at 25. Most people are following advice built for someone half their age.
9. A bad previous treatment is harder to fix than doing nothing at all. Choose your practitioner well before you choose your treatment.

If you want to know where to start with your skin treatments, a consultation is the best first step.

Most people associate CO2 laser with one thing.

The reality is it covers a lot more.

Acne scarring, fine lines, uneven texture, sun damage.

Often in the same treatment.

But, it isn't right for everyone.

A consultation is where you find out if it's the right fit.

The ask has changed.

It's not "make me look younger." It's "make me look like myself on a good day."

Curious what that could look like for you?

A single stitch brow lift is a minimally invasive procedure.

If your brows have started to sit heavier and your eyes look less open than they used to, this is one option worth looking into.

Most people assume ageing skin is just a timeline you can't control, but a lot of it comes down to daily exposure you can.

Protecting your skin barrier now is cheaper than fixing it later.
