The Fox Eyes Thread Lift TM is one of Dr Mahsa’s signature treatments whereby she uses a combination of thread-lift techniques to lift and elongate the outer eyelid and brow to create a beautiful openness to the eye area for a bright, well-rested and youthful appearance.
Targeting both the SPS area ( the eyeshadow space between the upper eyelid and the eyebrow), as well as the eyebrow itself using dissolvable suture threads.
This minimally invasive treatment uses ultra-fine, lightweight suture threads placed under the skin via a small cannula to gently pull the eyelid, outer eye and brow outwards and upwards to alleviate the area of sagging skin that may present as a result of ageing, or be predisposed genetically, such as hooded eyelids or excess skin that droops at the corner of the eyes.
The Fox Eyes Thread Lift TM technique can also be used to subtly remodel the positioning of the eyebrows’ outer tail to carefully create the illusion of a wider eye and higher cheekbones. The threads will gradually dissolve in time, whilst the tissue around them works to stimulate and increase collagen production to retain the lift and build a long-term rejuvenation and tautness, which over time slows the formation of drooping skin, fine lines and wrinkles.
Your SAS Aesthetics doctor will create a bespoke treatment plan to determine your suitability in achieving your preferred look.
All Fox Eyes Thread Lift TM treatments can be carried out in less than an hour using local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort with minimal downtime. The effects of this technique typically last between 6-12 months with PDO threads or 2-3 years with the use of semi permanent threads.

This treatment is an increasingly popular treatment for patients. This technique uses dissolvable sutures to lift and elongate the outer eyebrows and upper eyelid to create an openness to the eyes whilst simultaneously lifting the brow tail to create the desired effect.
SPS stands for superior palpebral sulcus. This is the area in your upper eye that creates a fold better known as the “eyeshadow area”. With time, due to aging this skin begins to droop down as the fat pads above and around the eyebrows are lost. An SPS lift uses dissolvable suture threads to lift and tighten the skin below the eyebrows and above the eyes to create an openness and restore the shadow area.
The Eyebrow lift focuses on simply re-aligning the position of the eyebrow itself with little to no impact in skin tightening. This is a great treatment for patients considering a change in the shape of their eyebrow to a more straight and elongated shape.
Dr. Mahsa offers two different techniques to achieve this look. All these techniques are unique to our clinic and have been developed and perfected by Dr. Mahsa. All these treatments can be done using local anaesthetic in under one hour with minimal downtime:
All of the techniques used by Dr. Mahsa are relatively painless as she will give you an effective local anaesthetic (LA) injection called “xylocaine”. The LA injections will feel like a pin prick. You may experience some headaches after the treatment which will respond well to over the counter painkillers and are usually short lived in nature.
The beauty of this treatment is that it’s free of incisions. The treatment is done through needle entry points through which a pre-mounted cannula is introduced to create the desired result. The trauma incurred to the treated area is very small with only a needle mark visible immediately after the procedure. This, therefore reduces the risk of scarring to a minimum.
Threadlifts will heal within 7-10 days as the swelling and bruising settles down. You make experience tightness in the treated area for a week on average. There may be some skin folds in the hairline which usually begins to relax 2-3 days after the procedure. Disclaimer: individual healing times may vary.
The treatment is relatively safe, with minor complications such as swelling and bruising, however there is a slightly increased risk of infection with PDO threads compared to other treatments, there is a small risk of nerve damage and a negligible risk of scarring. During your appointment your doctor will explain the measures you must take to avoid and minimise the risks of these complications during your appointment.
This is not the case, the skin surrounding the PDO thread will be stimulated to create more collagen which will make the skin more firm and less prone to “sagging” or wrinkles in the long term.
As with all aesthetics treatments, consumption of alcohol should be avoided for 12 hours before and after treatment, the same is said for smoking but for 6 hours. Specific to thread lifts, you should avoid strenuous exercise for 2 weeks after the treatment. Some clients may be advised to go on a liquid diet for 1-2 days after the treatment. Depending on your medical conditions some patients who are diabetic or more prone to infection should take antibiotics for a short period before and after the treatment.
Other post treatment precautions will depend on which area is treated and will be discussed with you in depth during your clinic appointment.
This treatment is not recommended for pregnant women, women who are breastfeeding. Those with obesity are discouraged from having this treatment.
PDO threads last 6 -12 months depending on your lifestyle and level of activity – For longer lasting results a repeat procedure is advisable.
Other available suture materials, PLLA or PCLA threads with longer life spans will last between 2-3 years.
Dr Saleki is the sweetest and most professional Dr ever! I was really nervous and she completely put me at ease for my fox eye thread lift!
I was a bit nervous, Dr Mahsa was lovely, she couldn’t of been more professional and kind. I had nose threads and the procedure was quick and apart from a bit of discomfort with the anaesthetic, the rest was totally pain free. I am 3 days post treatment and still a bit swollen but other than that everything has been very smooth and I feel fine. I’m excited to see the settled results. Would I recommend, 100% yes.
First time I every had any treatment and it was a brilliant experience, The Dr was very Calm and compassionate and clear. I read about a treatment threading but she said I didn’t need it and suggested fillers and fat dissolving which has work for me, definitely go again even though it took me over 2hours to get there.
