The skin under the eyes can be susceptible to a dark hue, this is often due to overstraining of the eyes causing congestion of blood products under the skin. With the skin under the eyes being thin this congestion tends to show as dark circles.

The treatment itself is a series of microinjections of a mixture of vitamins, antiradicals and aminoacids into the mesodermal layer of the skin. Over time the skin under the eyes brightens as the body stimulates skin recovery by targeting pigmentation, dullness and dehydration with results often seen after as few as 3 sessions.

Following an in-depth assessment with your SAS Aesthetics doctor, discussing your suitability and expected results, your Dark Circle Mesotherapy cocktail will be bespoke to meet your needs with a combination of active ingredients to include vitamins, enzymes, biotin and hyaluronic acid.

The treatment is minimally invasive and for best results we suggest a course of 3-6 treatments. After the initial redness has subsided, you can typically expect results to last around 12 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Dark Circle Mesotherapy?

Dark Circle Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive skin treatment, which targets pigmentation, dull skin, dehydration, fine lines and wrinkles and hair loss with results often seen after as few as 3 sessions.

The treatment itself is a series of microinjections of a mixture of vitamins, antiradicals and aminoacids into the mesodermal layer of the skin. The result is tighter, more nourished and rejuvenated skin whilst promoting the production of collagen and elastin, essential in maintaining the skin’s natural elasticity.

How long does it take to see results?

Results can be seen after just one session. But for best results we suggest a course of 3-6 sessions for longer lasting results as the concentration of the active vitamins and minerals build up to a high enough concentration.

How long do the results last?

After your course of 3-6 treatments you can expect to see results for 12 months. Thereafter to maintain results you can have one off treatments every 3-6 months to replenish the levels of active ingredients which are working to renew your skin reserves and prevent your skin concerns from re-occuring.

Is this treatment painful?

Mesotherapy is relatively pain free, a topical anaesthetic cream is used.

What are the side effects?

The treatment is very safe with very few side effects. You can expect an initial redness to the skin alongside some very mild swelling which tends to heal within hours, taking a maximum of 24 hours in most cases.

What should I avoid before and after the treatment?

To reduce the risk of swelling and bruising avoid smoking & drinking alcohol for up to 6 hours. To optimise your results make sure to moisturise your skin twice a day ahead of your treatment.

Are there any contra-indications?

Due to the presence of some active ingredients within the mesotherapy solutions. The treatment isn’t recommended for pregnant women or those at the early stages of breastfeeding.

What ‘Meso Cocktail’ is right for me?

This is something that can be discussed in person but to give you a idea, some of the main concerns addressed by this treatment is skin dehydration or loss of turgor. Skin Pigmentation and dullness are also a common treated concern.

A mesolift is a revolutionary treatment that can tighten the skin and create a more taught appearance as a secondary effect of the chemical stimulation.
